Log in dialog box

The Login dialog box provides a mechanism for a user to log it to the system.

The Login dialog box contains the following elements:

Username—username (see Login authentication).

Password—password. Click the eye icon when typing in the password and you can see what you are entering. If RSA SecurID MFA authentication is enabled, the RSA token must be entered into the password field immediately followed by the user password.

This dialog box may also include a login message. The login message feature enables Administrators and StorageAdmins to display a message to users during login. For example, an administrator may want to notify users about a software upgrade.

Login—Opens the Unisphere for PowerMax application for second and subsequent logins. For the first login, the end user license agreement (EULA) is displayed to the user. The user must read the agreement, accept the agreement by clicking the checkbox next to I accept the terms of the License Agreement, and then click Continue to open the Unisphere for PowerMax application. The acknowledgment of the EULA agreement is recorded in the audit log for each of the storage systems accessible to the user at the time of the action.
